Paesaggi Italiani (''Italian landscapes''), created by Massimo Morozzi in 1995 and expanded each year with new elements and compositions, is more than just a new product: it is a new concept in furniture design and a means not only of solving problems but of meeting the need for customization.

An advanced system: a small number of components with a vast array of variants. This is the alchemy in design: creating numerous solutions from a few base elements. It is one of the first truly industrial projects applied to furniture. A programme as rich as the land of Italy, a treasure-chest of solutions and ideas: partitions, walls and finished furniture units, innovative images, linear design and enhanced decorative presence.

Paesaggi Italiani has all it takes to become the new standard for Italian homes: it is the basic solution for all uses, both in the daytime areas and bedrooms; the load-bearing frame of the habitat and a new solution, bringing function and beauty to the modern home. Paesaggi Italiani opens up extraordinary new potential for the workplace and commercial areas. The opportunities offered by Paesaggi Italiani are so numerous as to be almost beyond description. Colour comes first: 75 full-tone colours, which can be mixed and matched to evoke all the charm and warmth of the hues of art and natural landscapes.

Then there is the range of materials for the doors: four types of wood, aluminium, steel, semi-transparent and translucent methacrylate. Then all the different types: traditional walls, bookcases, together with finished furniture units tall and low, columns, perfectly at ease in their singular, subtle play on empty spaces and volumes, sideboards to lay, frames to display. Two widths, two depths, six heights. Mass production does not preclude a personal touch: each user can customize their own unit with colours and variants. The project has a syntax of its own: each combination of syntagmata will tell a different story, all highly symbolic.
