Peter Draenert Adler II (1224) Table
An extensible dining table from wood, wood veneer or natural
stone, either boatshaped, rectangular or oval. The integrated lifting
mechanism allows the interior central leaf to be raised once the two
halves of the tabletop have been pulled apart. An ingenious technique
makes the extension a procedure of miraculous ease.
This model is
offered with 5 different bases:
- Base 2 - Oval (standard base): ovalbase
V2A matt ground finish. - Base 3 - Tripus: 3 steel columns, polished
chrome finish on cast base black. - Base 4 - Ellipse: ellipsoid, V2A matt
ground finish on cast base black. - Base 5 - Stone: oval base, made of
stone lamellae matching the main plate. A variant of the, in the
meantime legendary, model 1224 Adler consists of a new pedestal made
from natural stone. This design gives the model value and elegance. The
heavy material weighs it to the ground and comforts, the design, in its
demanding craftsmanship, is timeless and distinctive. This variant can
be manufactured with rollers in the pedestal and is, therefore, easily
movable. The homogeneity of pedestal and plate gives the model its
great gravity.
- Base 6 - Flat Oval: flat oval V2A matt ground finish on
a rectangular sandblasted chrome plated base. Another variant of the
Adler-series consists of a very technical appearing pedestal from
smoothly polished stainless steel on a steel plate of the same design.
This pedestal gives the model technical conciseness and cool strength.
Disciplining the form, uplifts the model from an elegant cosy ambience
into a young interior, reduced to the essentials.
