Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec Self Shelving
Self is a modular shelved display cabinet which invites its user to interact with it. There are only two elements to Self. Its horizontal shelves and vertical dividing walls come in a variety of sizes and colours and can easily be built in flexible configurations and without tools. Self can be closed, open or accessed from both sides and can function as a bookshelf, display cabinet or room divider.
Material:
Bases made of blown polypropylene, dividing walls of polycarbonate, pull rods of galvanized steel.
Basic set:
one base with 12 height-adjustable feet, a cover base, set of 8 stabilizing draw rods ( 2 each for building a Self at a height of 500, 900, 1300 or 1700 mm).
Cover base:
can be ordered individually.
Dividing wall:
available in sets of 3 pieces, we recommend the use of at least 9 divid-ing walls per height of file.
Self 500 mm high = 1 Basic set + 9 dividing walls
Self 900 mm high = 1 Basic set + 1 cover base + 18 dividing walls
Self 1300 mm high = 1 Basic set + 2 cover bases + 27 dividing walls
Self 1700 mm high = 1 Basic set + 3 cover bases + 36 dividing walls
