Mario Bellini Cab Chair
It was in 1977 that Mario Bellini developed this brilliant concept.... a flexible steel frame covered with a 'skin' of luxurious saddle leather. The use of zippers completes the piece to create a timeless design that transcends multiple environments.
The comfort and durability of cab are affirmed by its longevity in the Cassina collectiion. Cab received the 1979 ASID & ROSCOE awards and is included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art and the 20th century design and architecture collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
