Marc Newson Io Table

The Io table is characterised by a tensioned cord that holds all the components together. The structural rigidity mainly depends on the surrounding “cable” tension. All components are inter-changeable and can be both assembled and disassembled easily.

panel in MDF wood fibre

satined varnished, white or black

white thermoplastic material with metal insert

Circular sections:
white thermoplastic material

Tension cables:
stainless steel, plastic cover
