Compared to traditional chairs, and their static, passive construction, the Sedia Dinamica introduces a brand-new concept of comfort, born of a careful consideration of what sitting at a table for hours and hours on end can do to you.

This one-of-a-kind project was preceded by an analysis of the different body postures and their mutual interaction and relationships. As a result, the Sedia Dinamica facilitates a natural, effortless transition from the habitual static position, in which your muscles and joints are at rest, to a position in which the muscles of your back and legs are stimulated to engage in small movements to maintain a proper balance.

Your body is encouraged to move its centre of gravity forward, so as to have the front part of the base provide a firm footing on the floor. The back of the chair has been designed so that it will not interfere with the natural tendency of people's back to centre itself: this prevents false, needless movements and ensures the best posture.

If you feel fatigued, you can shift between the two body attitudes - static and dynamic - and get an immediate feeling of well-being, that will help you stay focused on the job. The Sedia Dinamica is made of bent wood: a natural, flexible material, perfectly in keeping with the spirit of this project.
