Step Collection is formed from numerous different possible pieces such as a chair, a stool, an ottoman, a bench, and a small working station. We play with the proportion and quality of materials, and create stories behind them before we design an additional piece for the collection. The 3Step Chair and the stool in the IDW show reflected opposing qualities while connecting to a one family. In the chair, 3rd additional leg transforms the idea of a chair from a simple/usual to an unusual and playful one.
