Piergiorgio Cazzaniga Daiku Chair
  • Piergiorgio Cazzaniga Daiku Chair
Daiku by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga is the archetype of the solid wood chair of the third millennium: simple and linear, yet warm and strong. The slightly concave seat is married with the slanted back for maximum comfort; at the base, two crosspieces unite the legs and combine functional needs with a geometric and delicate aesthetic detail. The name of the chair comes from the Japanese word that suggests the axe masters of Kyoto, those carpenters who built the magnificence of the Japanese temples and whose mastery Cazzaniga presents once again in this project.
