Pascal Mourgue Patchwork Bed
In designing this bed Pascal Mourgue's wish was to combine clarity of design, softness of comfort and functionality. The bed frame fully-upholstered with no hard edges, whilst the headboard - also fully-upholstered - may be folded down to form a comfortable support for reading in bed; the wide side panels, meanwhile, offer a pleasant and useful place to sit down, for example whilst dressing; and the generous storage chest beneath the wide headboard will prove particularly useful.
The headboard may be equipped with optional indirect lighting, which is activated automatically when either one of the two halves of the headboard is operated. This is of particular use to those who wish to sit up and read without disturbing their sleeping companion.
