A metaphor, a small expanse of water used to convey the sensation of the silence of a passing, fleeting surface world.

An unexpected concept defines the profile and elegantly marks the opening. Three rods raise and separate the table tops; one is decorated and upside-down, the other mirrors the first. A reciprocal relationship which replaces height and depth in a continuity of right and reverse. An interplay of two elements, a complementary relationship which does not reproduce an image but approximately fills a void, thus creating a natural, sophisticated asymmetry.

The small table, in the dual version in white or black, is available in the even version, a pair with two shelves, or in the odd version, a small table with two shelves combined with a third one with single shelf.

The tops, fitted on a powder-coated metal frame, are in MDF with gloss lacquer finish, screen-printed MDF or mirror plate glass.
