Martin Visser SZ 03 Chair
The easy chair SZ 03 was designed by Martin Visser in 1968. This item was directly diverted from arm chairs SZ 01 with cane and SZ 02 with saddle leather and only remained part of the collection for 2 years (1969-1971).
Spectrum re-introduced this item in september 2005. SZ 03 has a metal tube, matt chromed, with a very special spring which is part of the design in a very obvious way: the springs are visible on seat and back and connect the 2 sides in a horizontal way. They are attached to the frame with a special clip, which shows the honest construction of this design. A loose, thin, upholstered pillow with a removable cover lies in the frame. Both fabric and leather can be used for the upholstery, so there are numerous possibilities.
