Kaare Klint designed his Safari Chair in 1933. The purpose of using the chair in the field was maintained as the chair is easy to disassemble - and assemble - with no tools. The chair - maybe the world's first "D-I-Y furniture" - can be rolled in carton and dispatched worldwide.
The chair is available in light and smoked ash, oil-treated. Available with canvas and oxhide cover in natural, blue, green and brown (canvas) and natural, tanned, red and black (oxhide). Ultimate comfort is achieved with a plain cushion or a slightly thicker cushion with buttons. A matching stool is available made according to the same simple principle as the chair with an easily disassembling frame in ashwood.
