Joan Gaspar Nolita Lamp
Nolita is contemporary, both in its design and materials. It offers simple and straightforward shapes and sizes. Versatile, it discloses multiple possibilities of use.
This lamp is available in different versions: floor, table (2 sizes), wall and suspension (2 sizes). The shade is made of a double polycarbonate layer, always with an opal interior and a translucent or opaque (white or black) exterior. The metal parts are made of aluminium. The outstanding feature of the Nolita is the swivelled arm, which facilitates the positioning of the shade, and allows adjusting the height of the lamp. Built-in switch or dimmer. Light sources: incandescent and fluorescent.

"Its aesthetic tone is the fundamental component of this lighting collection. Close attention to the overall proportions was crucial in accomplishing the desired level of sophistication and elegance. The materials used, in particular the moulded polycarbonate for the shades, with their varied colours and textures, also played their part, as did the method of manufacture and the finish. We wanted a well thought out item which was capable of transmitting at first glance the fact that it has been faultlessly crafted. We were obsessed by its basic simplicity and the straightforwardness of its manufacture. The outstanding feature of the Nolita is the articulated arm, which facilitates the positioning of the shade. This feature breaks the classical silhouette slightly, but in no way compromises the elegance of the light."
